Against the background of overall design and reduction of the number of heterogeneous isolated solutions, the existing systems are being integrated to an information- and communications system. Due to this integration the entire workflow is being optimized. From damage recording to report: all relevant demands are being fulfilled.

Integration by the standardized HL7 application protocol is the prerequisite for a real-time transmission of all ocurring data to all concerned systems. The central entity of the HIS is a communications server, which distributes all interdepartmental information. The automatic reception, as well as the syntax check, occur by the available HL7 information.
