The implementation of a digital dictation system in an enterprise promptly results a significant increase of document throughput in comparison to analog dictation systems. Flexibility at editing dictations and time saving by sending dictations and documents via intranet or internet instead of carrying them to and fro are the most conspicuous advantages of a digital dictation system.

The above mentioned advantages notwithstanding, without the concurrent deployment of a dictation and document management system there still remain bottlenecks in the enterpriseŽs workflow. E.g., after transcription, documents or their copies are sent via internal snail mail or by email to the dictator, who then checks the document and sends it back the same way. A procedure which is often reiterated many times before a document is definitely completed. The invested time for unnecessary transportation and copying is quite significant.

An additional performance advantage by accelerating the workflow is achieved by the complete integration of the digital dictation system into the document management system.

The current version of ProDictate^® offers you a user-friendly office interface. All important features of the office application are directly integrated into the ProDictate^® GUI. After starting ProDictate^® and the respective application, the option "Document Management" is automatically available for the clients. Thus, the application has not to be exited, e.g., in order to investigate an archived document. You can always comfortably and quickly find and edit documents which have been created with OffiProDictate.

As demonstrated above, the integration of the digital dictation system enables a holistic workflow without burdening your employees with unnecessarily complicated procedures. The familiar working techniques with Microsoft Office remain unchanged. At the same time, you have the advantage of revision-safe document storage and the documents are available for all authorized users participating in the respective workflow.
